Young Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom is reportedly edging closer to a loan deal at English Championship outfit Ipswich Town with the move expected when the January transfer window opens next month.
The 21-year old Nigerian born forward has appeared just once this season due to a chronic back problem with his sole outing coming during the 4-0 thrashing of his former side Nottingham Forest in the 3rd round of the EFL Cup.
He has featured on loan for clubs like the previously mentioned Nottingham Forest and Hull City however Ipswich Town could join that list as well according to OwnGoalNigeria.
Liverpool have joined the race for the signature of German forward Julian Draxler according to Italian journalist Emmanuele Giulianelli adding that PSG and Arsenal are all interested in the VFL Wolfsburg star.
He made this known via tweet as follows: “Draxler’s agent has been in touch with Arsenal who say they’re interested. Wolfsburg want €40m (£33.9m) but Arsenal aren’t willing to go to that.
“Draxler would prefer AFC but PSG and Liverpool also interested. PSG favourite because they are willing to pay the money to Wolfsburg.”
Swansea City manager Bob Bradley has refused to confirm or deny reports linking his Welsh side to Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.
Speaking ahead of the league clash with Swansea City on Boxing Day (December 26, 2016), Bradley said: Somehow I get asked about players and whether their names come up. If I say yes that player has been discussed then it is said he is of interest to me.
“Plenty of players have been discussed, I am open to saying who but when players are with other clubs you must be careful.
“We have had talks on many different players, that is normal. Windows change, players names go on and off the board during discussions.” he concluded.
