According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Antonio Conte will reinvest the money made from Diego Costa’s sale.

Diego Costa will be heading to Atletico Madrid in January for a fee reportedly around £58m.

And Antonio Conte will put that money to secure the services of Gareth Bale. Don Balon also claim that Conte wants Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata to partner as a powerful striking force.

Conte has built the profile of Chelsea, making it easy to attract world-class player, he, however, knows that signing Gareth Bale won’t be that easy yet he is convinced he can secure the services of the Welsh player.

Don Balon claim Real Madrid regrets not selling the player last summer and are willing to sell him in the next transfer window and a move for him to Stamford Bridge won’t be a bad idea.

Chelsea can afford the star player but they could face a stronger competition from United who as also shown great interest in the player.
