Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been keen on Chelsea wide man Willian for some time and the latest news seems positive for United.
Man United to pay huge fee
A month ago, The Mail claimed that Manchester United are set to cough out a transfer fee of €68million to secure the services of the playmaker.
Now, according to latest update provided by British publication The Sun in July, the Red Devils are seriously closing in on the signing of the Brazil international winger for a transfer fee worth over €68million. The British publication have mentioned that the English Premier League side believe they will fend off competition from La Liga giants FC Barcelona and bring in the former Shakhtar attacker.
Quality attacker
The South American was great under Jose Mourinho in the Blues’ 2014-15 Premier League title-winning season. However, under former Italy boss Antonio Conte, the Brazilian has mostly been dropped to the bench.
Last term, he played in 36 league matches for the West London club but could only start 20 matches and contributed in 14 goals, including 6 goals and 8 assists.
For his national side, so far, Willian has featured in 62 games for the Samba boys and he played in every match for the five-time Champions at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
