According to The Times, Premier League giants Chelsea are allegedly back in the race to appoint Spaniard Luis Enrique this summer transfer window.
Chelsea keen on Barcelona man
Reports in the past have claimed that the former FC Barcelona manager was no longer an option for the West London club, due to his salary demands, but that does not seem to be the case.
Salary demands and management style is believed to be behind the Gunners ending their interest in the manager.
Coach demand bigger wage
The Ex-Barcelona manager allegedly wants a bigger wage than French tactician Arsene Wenger is currently paid, making an appointment very unlikely.
Enrique, 47, was among the top favourites to replace departing Arsene Wenger this summer.
Days back, it was confirmed that the former Monaco boss would step aside at the end of the current season, paving the way for the Emirates club to enter a brand new era at the side.
Chelsea favourite
Louis Enrique has been without a managerial job since leaving the Spanish La Liga side and has been strongly linked with both the Gunners job and Chelsea job.
The Blues have also been heavily linked with Current Juventus boss Massimo Allegri and Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri with current boss Antonio Conte set to depart Stamford Bridge.
