Chelsea Set To Sign Star Player Ahead Of Man United – Mourinho Must Act Fast

Alexis Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal in recent times, and the Chilean is expected to complete a move that will take him away from North London before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.

Although Manchester United are at the forefront of getting his signature, there are new claims that Chelsea have made a late move to snatch him away from United’s grips.

The former Barcelona man was close to reuniting with his former boss Pep Guardiola at Man City last summer, but when the window reopened in the new year, Manchester United quickly offered a better package to the player, to his club and to his agent.

Pep Guardiola has reportedly withdrawn from the race for the player’s signature, but it appears Chelsea are not going to allow him to move to Old Trafford without giving a fight.

According to Manchester Evening News, the premier league champions are set to persuade the Chile international to come over to Stamford Bridge.

The talented player has made up his mind to leave Arsenal this month, and he is keen on going any other place that can give him trophies.

Although the red devils are still favourites to get his signature, Arsenal could decide to increase the player’s fee beyond the £35M Mourinho is willing to pay.
