Chelsea star player and Belgium international Eden Hazard has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent times, and the latest being said about him is that the West London club are facing a battle to keep him with them.
According to reports, the premier league side will demand at least £200million for the Belgian amid fears the 27-year-old will seek an upgrade on his career after the World Cup.
Eden moved to Stamford Bridge in 2012 and has evolved into one of the most influential players in the club, as well as one of the bests in the world. He has helped Chelsea win various trophies.
The talented player helped his country win the bronze prize in Russia after they defeated England 2-0 on Saturday.
His superb performances in Russia has drawn fresh attention from the La Liga duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Chelsea are hoping to keep Hazard at Stamford Bridge and will attempt to persuade him to sign a new contract to extend his stay at the club.
However, the London club are not confident of keeping their man with them, and the Daily Telegraph made it known that they feel the Belgian will decide to move elsewhere for an upgrade.
And so, Chelsea are going to demand a fee that is in the region of what Paris Saint Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar’s signature last summer.
