Europa League holders Chelsea have rejected two separate bids for one of their players.
This is according to Sky Sports which claimed that the Blues have turned down two separate bids of £35m for Brazilian national team player Willian.
It was revealed that the bids are from the Spanish La Liga duo of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona are long-term admirers of Willian and the Catalans have tried to sign the Chelsea winger on several occasions.
The Spanish champions made a swap bid for him during the winter transfer window but they were unsuccessful.
Barcelona were willing to offer compatriot Malcom in exchange for Willian only for the Spaniards to meet a brickwall, as Chelsea didn’t want to let their winger leave the club.
Atletico Madrid are new entrants as far as the interest in Willian is concerned.
Chelsea are in a more precarious position than they were when the previous Barcelona bid was rejected due to the transfer ban slammed on them by world’s football governing body FIFA.
The West London giants have submitted an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) in a bid to overturn the transfer ban.
Chelsea won’t want to lose another important player following the exit of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.
