According to reports, Merseyside giants Liverpool have reportedly agreed to an undisclosed transfer fee with West London outfit Chelsea for the move of Dominic Solanke 12 months after he left London for Anfield Stadium.
Top quality youngster
The 20-year-old, joined Liverpool last summer window after exhausting the remainder of his deal with the Blues.
However, as the forward is under age 24, the West London outfit were to be compensated.
The two sides engaged in long discussions throughout the 2017/18 campaign but they could not agree.
And just when it seemed like the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) had decided the right fee, the problem got settled directly between Chelsea and Liverpool.
Figures unclear
It’s not very clear what fee the Merseysider’s will pay Chelsea for the England international forward, however.
As per the Liverpool ECHO, Liverpool had previously valued the striker at about £3million with the blues asking for close to £10m. Now that a compromise has been reached, there is no need to head to the tribunal.
The youngster won the U-20 FIFA World Cup with England youth team back in June 2017 and had been a member of the Chelsea youth team since 2004 but he has only played a game for the first-team.
