Chelsea Considering January Sale Of In-form Striker

Former European Champions Chelsea are said to be considering the possible sale of in-form striker Tammy Abraham when the January transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.

This is according to the publication from Football London which claimed that the Blues are hoping to capitalise on the numerous interests in the England international forward.

The Nigerian-born England striker has been in red-hot form for Aston Villa in the English Championship this season.
Tammy Abraham joined the Midlands club towards the end of this summer’s transfer window on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.

The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Chelsea and had previously spent loan spells at English Championship outfit Bristol City and Welsh side Swansea City.

He scored eight goals for Swansea City last season while he was on a season-long loan deal at the Liberty Stadium from Chelsea but Tammy could not prevent the Welsh outfit from suffering relegation at the end of the Premier League last term.

Tammy Abraham is enjoying a far more productive spell at Aston Villa after netting 12 goals for Dean Smith’s side to aid the push for promotion to the Premier League via one of the top six positions on the English Championship table.

Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are two English clubs ready to sign him if Chelsea decide to sell.
