Five-time European champions Liverpool have been handed a big boost on the injury front ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Star striker Roberto Firmino was a big doubt for the Champions League final but the Brazilian international has now been passed fit for the game against Spurs.
The former TSG Hoffenheim player has been struggling with a muscle injury and he has played just ten minutes from the last five games (450 minutes) in all competitions.
He suffered injury shortly before the Premier League clash with already relegated Huddersfield Town last month before returning briefly during the final minutes of the Champions League semifinal first leg clash with Spanish giants Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
Roberto Firmino went on to miss the final three games of the season (One Champions League game + Two Premier League games).
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the final, Jurgen Klopp told reporters that Firmino is fit for the game after his recent injury problems.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager was not prepared to give anything away when he was asked whether the Brazilian player will start the game from the onset.
Roberto Firmino has scored 16 goals for Liverpool this season including four Champions League.
