After 20 years at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger may leave Arsenal. Wenger, who recently celebrated his 20th anniversary as Arsenal manager, will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign. The 66 year old has been linked with the England manager’s job following Sam Allardyce’s departure and has said that it might appeal one day, but Pires hopes Wenger will stay at the Emirates Stadium a little longer. “The English are thinking about it because they think he’d be the ideal person,” Pires said However, everyone knows how Arsene wenger has been dedicated to this club for years. Is Love making Martial distracted from Manchester United?
Ije love o! Sources say that the reason Anthony Martial has been under performing after a 58 million euro deal is because his baby mama left him after three years of being together! Anthony Martial came off the bench to break the deadlock against Stoke City at Old Trafford on Sunday, scoring with a wonderful curling effort in a game United eventually drew 1-1. However, it was the Frenchman’s first goal in nine games! He struggled to rediscover the scintillating form he showed after joining United in a £58million deal from Monaco last year. Close sources attribute this distraction to his split from Samantha Jacquelinet (far left and far right), his partner of three years and mother of their baby daughter Peyton, earlier this year following … [Read more...]
Arsenal Rewards Executives with 1 Million Euros!
Despite flat-lined commercial revenues and no trophy, Arsenal seems to still have enough money to spray her executives! Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis received an extraordinary annual bonus of more than £1million. In total, Gazidis was paid a whopping package of £2.648m, making him the second highest paid football club executive in the Premier League behind Manchester United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. The numbers are included in the Arsenal club accounts sent to shareholders. Gazidis's pay rose by nearly £400,000 for the year ending June 2016, despite Arsenal's lack of success. Woodward is understood to earn around £3m a year but United's complex accounting system does not reveal the exact figure. The team has had a fantastic showing this season … [Read more...]
Don’t Underestimate Tottenham; they can win the Premier League- Guardiola
Pep Guardiola insisted Tottenham are genuine contenders for the English Premier League title after seeing his unbeaten start as Manchester City boss come to an end at White Hart Lane. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach had won his first 10 games in charge of City before a midweek UEFA Champions League draw at Celtic was followed up with a maiden loss on Sunday (Monday AEST). Tottenham were good value for their win as an Aleksandar Kolarov own goal and a Dele Alli effort secured a 2-0 victory, with Erik Lamela unable to add the gloss to the three points as he saw a second-half penalty saved by Claudio Bravo. City were harried as they attempted to play their passing game and they missed the incisiveness of the injured Kevin De Bruyne as the Spurs … [Read more...]

Manchester United: Has the Mighty Fallen?
Jose Mourinho insisted in the build-up to Sunday’s clash with Stoke City that he needs more time to get things the way he wants them at Manchester United. And, after Joe Allen made the most of an error by David de Gea to earn a 1-1 draw, his assertion that United are nowhere near the finished article is clear for all to see. After Anthony Martial had come off the bench to give them the lead with 21 minutes to go, this was a game they should have been able to see out with something to spare. Instead, their normally-reliable goalkeeper – Player of the Year for three seasons running – spilled what seemed a straight-forward save and they were made to pay. But, while De Gea will be thrust under the spotlight in a game when his opposite number Lee Grant earned … [Read more...]
Pep talks of a 3-year contract extension only 3 months into his job
Pep Guardiola is already looking at extending his stay at Manchester City if only he can lead the club to glory. However, he has warned his players he will accept nothing less than total commitment to his strict philosophy and approach to football management. Early Premier League leaders City lost their 100 per cent record under the manager in midweek with the 3-3 Champions League draw at Brendan Rodgers led Celtic. Midfielder Fernandinho admitted afterwards it is hard for City’s players to maintain the levels of intensity demanded by the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss. But Guardiola, whose City side visit London for a top of the table clash on Sunday against Tottenham, turned down the opinion, though he is enjoying life at City so much he coud … [Read more...]
