Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is in talks with Premier League club Leicester City over the vacant managerial position at the club.
The Foxes are without a manager after Claude Puel was sacked on Sunday morning following a return of six league games without a single victory at home.
His last game in charge of Leicester City was on Saturday evening when the Foxes were thrashed 4-1 at home by London club Crystal Palace.
Ivorian international attacker Wilfried Zaha scored a brace to condemn the Foxes to their biggest home defeat in the Premier League this term.
The Crystal Palace game proved to be the final straw for the Leicester City owners who made the call to sack Claude Puel.
The Frenchman could be replaced by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers who previously managed Liverpool between 2012 and 2015.
Rodgers had a 50% win ratio in his three-year spell as the Reds manager.
He won 83, drew 41 and lost 42 games from the 166 matches that he managed at Liverpool.
Celtic confirmed earlier on Tuesday morning that they have given him permission to speak with Leicester City about their vacant managerial job.
Brendan Rodgers became the Celtic manager in 2016 and he has won the Scottish Premiership title in his two seasons at the club.
