Boca Juniors reacts to interest from Arsenal midfielder

South American outfit Boca Juniors have reacted to claims credited to the English Premier League outfit Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira insisting that he would play at the club in the future.

It would be recalled that Lucas Torreira recently stated that he would like to return back to play for the South American outfit as he claims that he has his heart at the club right from when he was young.

He stressed that he has got friends there and has sometimes gone to watch their games which speaks of his relationship with them.

However, Boca Juniors in their reaction appreciated the Arsenal man for indicating interest in playing for the club but they noted that they will have no words on that at the moment because he is still an Arsenal player.

The South American club, therefore, stated that they will wait for the right time to do the needful for the star player.

Meanwhile, the former Sampdoria star only joined the North London outfit in the last summer transfer window and he has already settled down to become one of the club’s favourites amongst the fans as he is tipped to have a great Future with Unai Emery.
