Big Doubt: AC Milan Considering Transfer U-turn On Chelsea Loanee

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are considering whether or not to make a U-turn on their decision to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko at the end of the season.

French midfielder Bakayoko is on a season-long loan deal at AC Milan from Premier League giants Chelsea having joined the Rossoneri at the start of the season.

Tiemoue Bakayoko was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as the new Blues’ boss.

He was thereafter loaned to AC Milan with the option of a permanent deal and the Frenchman has been in good form for the seven-time European champions.

AC Milan want to sign him permanently when the transfer window reopens this summer but that decision could be reversed according to the report from Italian news outlet Calciomercato.

The Rossoneri were in a fantastic position on the league table and also on course to qualify for next season’s Champions League when reports broke over the club’s intention of signing him on a permanent deal but things have changed in recent weeks and that has ultimately affected Tiemoue Bakayoko.

AC Milan have dropped from the Champions League places and are presently seventh on the league table after the 2-0 away defeat at fellow Champions League chasers Torino at the weekend.
