Man United star target Matthijs de Ligt has been warned against rejecting a move to the Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona for the Old Trafford i the coming summer transfer window.
Matthijs de Ligt has been on the radar of the Red Devils for a number of months and there are suggestions that a bid would be submitted for his signature but he has been warned by Paul Scholes’ son Arron.
Arron noted that the Holland international will only be wasting his time playing with Man United as he urged him to play for a club where he would enjoy the game and also be sure of winning.
Barcelona have already secured the signature of Matthijs de Ligt’s Ajax teammate Frenkie de Jong and there are claims that they would return to the for the Holland central defender.
Paul Scholes’ son noted that he is in love with his father’s former club but he will not wish Matthijs de Ligt as he noted that the Red Devil’s team have not been what it used to be.
He stressed that his father had severally criticized the team for their poor play and he feels the star player should move to Barcelona.
