Despite Sunderland relegation to the Championship division next season, a handful of their players can not be underestimated.
Although David Moyes’ side would be playing next season at the English lower division, some big English clubs have been linked with some of his players ahead of the summer transfer window.
And one of them is goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
And right now, the former Man United manager says Sunderland will ask for £30million for the goalie when summer comes.
Pickford has been impressive at Sunderland this season, the 23-year-old was not able to help the club from being relegated to the Championship.
It is only Burnley shot stopper Tom Heaton who had made more saves than Jordan as this season approaches it end, and Pickford made a total of 11 saves in his side 2-0 loss to Arsenal – making Arsenal’s French manager praise him.
He has been touted to leave the Stadium of Light this summer, with the trio of Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton showing interest
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking recently about the Pickford speculations, states that he has no plan going for the goalkeeper.
Wenger noted that though Pickford was impressive when his side clashed with Sunderland, he already had plenty goalkeepers at Arsenal – the likes of Petr Cech, Ospina, and so on.
