Arsenal will have their star player and goalkeeper Petr Cech back in pole when they clash with Blackpool on Wednesday for the Carabao Cup encounter.
Cech has just recovered from a hamstring injury that kept him away since the 2-0 win over Watford on September 29th.
He has been replaced by new signing Bernd Leno who has shown much brilliance and a good cover for the former Chelsea keeper.
Manager Unai Emery confirmed the return of Cech in an interview ahead of the Carabao clash by saying that the 36-year-old will get his chance, adding that all his goalkeepers will be given the opportunity to impress.
According to the Spanish manager, what is most important is the confidence of the goalkeeper for each game.
However, It is not sure if the former Chelsea man will return to the pole for the Premier League where he kept before his injury or his place will be taken over by Leno.
Howbeit, Arsenal’s winning run has ended with the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. The Emirate Stadium club pulled 11 successive wins and was stopped by in the 12th attempt.
They remain unbeaten in their last 12 games having suffered their only defeats in the first two games of the season against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.
