Arsenal set to make first winter transfer announcement

It has been hinted that the English Premier League outfit Arsenal could make their first announcement for a winter transfer deal in coming days after reports that they are close to sealing a deal for Italian Serie A outfit Torino central defender Nicolas N’Koulou.

Reports in Italy claim that Unai Emery is keen on the star defender and is on the verge of securing his signature in coming days to solve their defensive crisis.

The North London are in no doubt in need of quality defenders as pundits have identified the department as the weakest point in the team which must be solved if they must secure qualification to the Champions League next season.

Nicolas N’Koulou is a major force in the Torino team and one of the best defenders in the Italian Serie A.

With the Gunners already missing England international Rob Holding as a result of the injury he sustained some weeks back, there is a need to go all out for more additions in the North London side.
