According to reports making the rounds in England, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is interested in re-signing ex-Arsenal academy midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup from Turkish side Besiktas.
Football.London, as cited by the Daily Star, is suggesting that Arsenals boss wants to bring back the 25-year-old to the north London outfit.
The same story states that the midfielder has already received a couple of offers following his sensational form for his Turkish side.
According to the report, Arsene Wenger has had words with Ozyakup about a possible return to the club after they sold the Turkish midfielder to Besiktas in a £400,000 move back in 2012.
He has less than six months remaining on his contract with the Super Lig side to open up the likelihood of a free move at the end of the current 2017-18 campaign.
The former Arsenal youth player has netted 27 goals and has provided 46 assists in 207 matches in all competitions for his side over the last six campaigns.
The Gunners sold French star Francis Coquelin to Spanish La Liga side Valencia in the winter transfer window.
Wales international Aaron Ramsey and England star Jack Wilshere are prepared to become free agents when the season ends unless Arsenal can convince the duo to extend their deals.
