Arsenal striker Lucas Perez reportedly ready to take a paycut to return to the La Liga with Deportivo La Coruna.
The Spanish striker arrived at the Emirates for reported fee of around £17million last summer transfer window from Deportivo, after an impressive displays in the La Liga.
However, the 28-year-old has not been able to nail a starting place at the Emirates, making just two starts so far this current campaign and 22 appearances in all competitions.
Reports in the La Voz de Galicia have it that Perez made initial contact with his former club, Deportivo La Coruna and might leave the Emirates if his first team opportunities are not guaranteed.
The Spaniard had earlier admitted his frustrations at the Emirates due to his lack of chances under Arsene Wenger.
It is understood that Perez has his eyes on making the Spanish national team selection for the next World Cup in Russia and considers his playing time as a chance of making the squad.
There are speculations that West Ham United are also keen on Perez’s signature next summer as they look to reinforce ahead of next season in a bid to better their current dismal form in the Premier League.
The report also claims that the Spaniard will re-consider his future at the Emirates if Arsene Wenger leaves the club, with suggestions that he will feature in the plans of the French boss next season if he remains at the club.
