English Premier League (EPL) heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move for highly rated French striker Moussa Dembele, who has been in sensational form for his Scottish Premier League (SPL) side and champions Celtic.
Dembele, who is a French U-21 star sealed his transfer to Scotland from English championship side Fulham and has weighed in with impressive performances to attract some of the best clubs in England.
According to Daily Star, Arsenal and Liverpool have been monitoring the 20-year old Frenchman with reported interest also from current European champions Real Madrid and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who experienced first hand how good Dembele is during the UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage campaign in Group D. Manchester City and Celtic played 3-3 at Celtic Park in Glasgow on Matchday 2 before both sides again settled for a 1-1 draw in their last group game at the Etihad Stadium.
Dembele would be a good addition to Arsenal, Liverpool or even Manchester City with the trio presently in the hunt for the league title however it remains to be seen whether Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, a former manager with the Anfield giants, would be willing to let go of his prized asset especially when the transfer window opens the next month.
