Arsenal have joined the race for Fulham striker Moussa Dembele, sources close to the player have revealed.
Dembele, 19, is out of contract at Fulham at the end of the month and looks set to leave after turning down a new deal at Craven Cottage.
The France under-20 international has emerged as a target for a number of Europe’s top clubs after scoring 16 goals for Fulham last season.
Dembele almost joined Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window, but the move fell through at the last minute.
Chelsea have expressed an interest in Dembele after inviting the player to watch their clash with Manchester City in April as a guest of the club.
Liverpool, Juventus, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have also been monitoring Dembele’s situation and are weighing up moves.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in the market for attacking reinforcements, with Danny Welbeck set to miss the majority of next season as he recovers from a serious knee injury.
The Gunners are still waiting to see if Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy wants to push through with a move to the Emirates after the London club met the release clause in his contract, while doubts also continue to surround the long-term future of Theo Walcott at the Emirates.
Former Paris Saint-Germain trainee Dembele has previously expressed his intention to return to his former club in the future.
