Arsenal fans now have reasons to be happy, according to Bournemouth veteran Jermain Defoe, who says the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette partnership is the solution to the blunt attack the team has had in the past.
Both players were given the nod to start the game against Cardiff on Sunday for the first time this season.
The last time the Frenchman and Gabonese were made to start a game was in the preseason where they both had a brilliant combination both on and off the pitch.
Not alone that the pair shone in the game that ended 3-2 in favour of The Gunners on Sunday, they both got on the scoresheet for the first time in this EPL term.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Defoe expressed confidence that both strikers can play together on the pitch to secure a better result in coming games.
He hailed the quality of the two players, noting that they are sharp, and can score goals from what was observed in the Cardiff game.

Defoe likened Aubameyang’s goal to the ones scored by the club’s legend, Thierry Henry during his days of active football.
He also stated that Lacazette’s movement, in and around the box is typical of a world-class player, hoping that more of the pair can be seen the more.
