North London outfit Arsenal have confirmed their first summer transfer activity with the exit of Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Stephan Lichtsteiner joined Arsenal in the last summer transfer window and he will be leaving just after a year.
The 35-year-old was the first signing by Arsenal boss Unai Emery on a free deal but he failed to impress the team.
Stephan Lichtsteiner only saw two games in the last 18 matches for the North London outfit and that is not enough for him to remain at the Emirates Stadium.
The rebuilding process at the Emirates Stadium has already begun and that leaves the right fullback position almost vacant.
This means that the Spanish boss will have to secure a replacement for that position before the end of the summer transfer window.
Sadly, the former PSG manager has got just £40 million transfer kitty to engage in the summer transfer window and that might not be enough as there is need for a massive overhaul of the team.
It is therefore suggested that the North London outfit will put some of their players on sale to be able to raise funds for transfer activities.
However, German international Mesut Ozil will also leave with calls from the fans that he is no longer fit for the club.
