Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has confirmed the Blues have received a bid for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, according to reports.
The Bosnia international has been linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge having remained backup for first choice Thibaut Courtois, with reports that a 10 million bid has been submitted.
Conte has now confessed a bid was received but insisted a decision has not yet been made.
He said: “First of all, Asmir is an importation player on and off the pitch.
“He knows this and there is this offer and me and the club are waiting but it is important to find the right solution for Asmir, the club and me.
“He is important and it is important to find the right solution. There is one offer and now me and the club are good to see the situation and face it to find the right solution.
“We are waiting on it. The club and the player knows my position.”
Begovic has only featured three times this season for the Blues and has not played in the Premier League this season. The 29-year-old will hope to reveive his ailing career away from the Stamford Bridge and will also be an upgrade to Artur Boruc at the Vitality stadium.
