A large group of football supporters in the home country of arsenal star man Alexis Sanchez have organized a peaceful protest to convince the star to leave Arsenal football club.
With the growing speculation of an end to the Arsene Wenger’s tenure at the end of this season after the humiliating 5-1 defeat in Munich, it seems a number of players are set to exit with the club manager.
Notable among this group is Mesut Ozil, who in particular gave the condition of signing a new deal if only Arsene Wenger remained the manager of the club. But it looks likely that Alexis Sanchez may also be part of this group.
After the Munich encounter, the Chilean was granted leave sparking the speculations that a move to Inter Milan was on the cards after he was spotted in Italy.
This might actually be what the thousands of supporters in Chile are about to ask for when they protest on the 1st of March, 2017. A statement on the group page read ‘we as Chileans are tired to watch one of our biggest stars play on his own to make his team get through, we don’t want him to go to Real Madrid or go back to Barcelona, we don’t give a f*ck where he goes to, we just want him to fight along with the other 10 players to get the results’.
‘He doesn’t deserve to be alone’
Meanwhile arsenal summer signing, Lucas Perez has shown readiness to leave the club in search regular of first team football. Despite impressing with the few cameo appearance he has had, he has so far found himself behind Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium this season. The Spanish striker looks to have more game time under his belt in his bid to make the 2018 world cup squad with Spain
