“Alex Ferguson” return considered

New Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly considering to return the ‘Alex Ferguson football style’ to the Old Trafford.

The past few years have been different for the Red Devils under former manager Jose Mourinho as they were forced to play a strange pattern which the club was not known with.

The Portuguese boss had too much emphasis on defending and that ensured a different United on the pitch with a number of pundits coming out to condemn the manager but he looked unrepentant.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that the attacking football under the legendary coach Alex Ferguson would be returned back to the club for the fans to smile again.

He noted that a new United will start by returning back to the style of play that ensured the club’s success in the long run.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from former manager Jose Mourinho some weeks ago and has been able to return the club back to winning ways with four wins in four games.

He is now tipped to continue on the job even after this season should United fail to secure a manager before the start of next season.

United have been linked with a move for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino but it is still unclear if they will succeed.
