The agent of Genk winger Leandro Trossard has confessed to have held talks with North London side Arsenal over a potential deal to have the player switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Leandro Trossard has impressive for his side this season, scoring 11 goals across all competitions to give him all the attention he deserves to be able to interesting clubs in Europe.
Leandro Trossard’s agent Josy Comhair is reported to have told Sporza that the North London side have been monitoring the winger for some time and have contacted him a number of times.
According to the agent, Tottenham was contacted to confirm if they have been following the player but they refused until Arsenal admitted to be doing so.
It was also revealed that the Gunners might not have the player in the winter transfer window which reopens in January but will wait until the summer for his signature.
Leandro Trossard has been tipped to have similar characteristics as Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi and expected to excel at the Emirates Stadium should he eventually secure a move.
Meanwhile, suggestions are that Leandro Trossard will not cost much for the Gunners due to his age and lack of enough experience.
