Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has asked the West London club to release him from his contract amidst strong interest from Italian champions Juventus.
Earlier reports had claimed that Juventus have made the Chelsea manager their top target for their vacant managerial post.
Maurizio Sarri’s agent Fali Ramadani met with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia on Friday to discuss the future of his client.
According to the publication from popular media outlet GOAL, Sarri has told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club this summer.

He had made a great start to his managerial career at Stamford Bridge until the first Premier League defeat to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in November.
Sarri managed to survive the sack at the start of this year to lead Chelsea to the Carabao Cup final which they lost to holders Manchester City on penalties.
The former Napoli boss also led the Blues to third place on the Premier League table at the end of his first season before crowning his efforts with his first title as a manager in the Europa League.
Chelsea thrashed Arsenal 4-1 in the final to win the Europa League title on Wednesday.
