Former European Champions Chelsea have offered striker Michy Batshuayi to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace ahead of the January transfer window which reopens in ten days time.
This is according to the publication from Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws (HLN).
HLN claim that the Blues are trying to find a solution to the situation of the Belgian international striker following the news that Spanish La Liga giants Valencia will terminate his loan contract at the weekend’s game against lowly Huesca in the league.
Michy Batshuayi, 25, joined Valencia on a season-long deal from Chelsea during the summer but they are ready to terminate it midway into his loan contract due to his unimpressive performances in the colours of Los Che.
The striker has been able to find the back of the net once in 13 league matches for Valencia.
He has already been linked with several other European clubs including Italian giants AS Roma and struggling French Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
London club Crystal Palace are the latest European side linked with the Belgian.
Palace have struggled for goals in the Premier League due to the lack of a red-hot striker and a loan move for Batshuayi can help to solve that problem until the end of the season.
