Dedryck Boyata

Manchester United have been told the reason why they should shift their attention to Celtic star Dedryck Boyata ahead of the winter transfer window opening in coming weeks.

The Red Devils boss was available to watch Dedryck Boyata in his Belgium’s 2-0 win against Iceland in the UEFA Nations League last week and is believed to have taken note of him.

Dedryck Boyata was the man of the match in the night as he showcased an impressive performance to stop the Icelanders from finding the back of the net.

The 27-year-old completed a total of 97.5% passes in addition to making 81 successful passes in the game which no one was able to surpass that night.

Dedryck Boyata is having his last year with the Celtic outfit and he is believed to be ambitious enough to want a move away from the club for another challenge.

This will be a boost for United who are in search of defenders as they have failed to impress so far with manager Jose Mourinho placing the blame on his defenders.

United have conceded a total of 21 goals this season in 12 league games against the 28 goals they conceded in all the entire previous season.
