Issa Diop was showered with praise by the Portuguese manager after the 3-1 United suffered to West Ham at the start of the season.
It is reported that the player’s performance caught the attention of the former Chelsea manager and has been linked to the Old Trafford since then.
The 21-year-old has got age on his side and a move to the Old Trafford at this time will mean big for his career.
When asked by Foot Mercato on how he feels to be admired by the Portuguese manager, he admitted to being flattered but noted that he will only be eager to have the opinion of his boss Manuel Pellegrini because that is what matters to be able to progress at the club.
Issa Diop however, stated that he has not thought of leaving West Ham at the moment but will remain focus on playing with the club and give his best as well.
