As a matter of fact, the Reds are the second most unlucky team in that regard behind league leaders Manchester City.
According to the report from the Daily Star, the Citizens have hit the woodwork nine times to top this section of Premier League stats ahead of Liverpool who have struck the woodwork on eight occasions.
Other teams in the top five include Stamford Bridge outfit Chelsea (7 times), Crystal Palace (7 times) and struggling outfit Huddersfield Town (6 times).
Manchester City emerged as the kings of the Premier League and they have so far lived up to that tag in the new season.
The three-time Premier League champions earned a record 100 points to clinch the title in the last campaign and also scored a whooping 106 goals.
In addition to this, they are the kings of woodwork in the Premier League this season but that has not affected their goal output.
Manchester City are the outright leading scorer in the league this season after scoring 33 goals in 11 league games.
