Chelsea midfielder and England international, Ross Barkley is having the best of his time at Stamford Bridge at the moment and he happens to be one of Sarri’s new key player.
However, this has not always been the case for the 24 years old midfielder, who joined the Blues in January when coach Antonio Conte was still in charge at Chelsea.
Ross Barkley arrived at Stamford Bridge with an injury which served as an impediment to his performance at Chelsea.
Under coach Antonio Conte, the English midfielder made two appearances in the English Premier League.
However, this season has seen Ross Barkley improve especially with the presence of new coach Maurizio Sarri, who gave him another chance to play for the Blues.
Ross Barkley in a recent statement disclosed he feels like a new signing and wants to do more for Chelsea.
The midfielder in his statement said: ‘I knew then that this season was going to be my time, and that I would be more like a new signing this summer than I was in January, just because of where I was at physically.’
Ross Barkley has put up great performances for the Blues so far this season and he already has 2 goals to his name.
