It has been made known that the Manchester United trio of Phil Jones, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marouane Fellaini are likely to participate in the Sunday game against Man City at Old Trafford.
Phil has missed his side’s last six games after worsening an injury on his thigh while playing for his national side against Germany last month.
Swede legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has recently returned from a long-term injury but didn’t participate in Man United’s last two games, despite showing signs that everything is now fine with him.
Marouane Fellaini has also been out of action in his side’s last three matches, after picking a knee injury.
However, it was recently made known that the trio will be part of the party that will clash with Man City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Jones, Fellaini and Ibrahimovic will be available to play against Pep Guardiola’s side.
It was however added that manager Jose Mourinho is expected to start the duo of Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic in the centre of the park and Fellaini will sit on the bench.
The Portuguese tactician has also confirmed that Nemanja will play despite still with an injury.
The former Chelsea midfielder picked an injury during Man United’s win over Watford few days back, but was able to participate in the game against Arsenal last weekend.
