Chelsea lost 3-0 to Roma on Tuesday in the Champions League, and things are not currently pleasant at Stamford Bridge.
Manager Antonio Conte enjoyed a sweet first season in England and was able to win the premier league title with seven points. His side are however finding it difficult to replicate what they did last season, and have lost four games before the start of November.
All attention are now towards the next premier league game against Manchester United this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
The premier league champions cannot afford to drop more points as they are at the point of being cut off from the title race, with ‘unstoppable’ Manchester City blazing ahead.
Antonio Conte will, therefore, be taking this game very serious, and will be unleashing his top squad to humiliate Jose Mourinho as he did last term.
The Italian boss is expected to make some changes to the back three that started in the Champions League on Tuesday, and he should give Azpilicueta a start ahead of Gary Cahill.
Kante was in contention to face Roma on Tuesday, and he is likely to be ‘risked’ at Stamford Bridge this Sunday – considering the importance of the game.
Chelsea should be fine on Sunday if Conte field this 3-4-3 starting XI against Manchester United:
GK – Courtois
DC – Rudiger
DC – Luiz
DC – Azpilicueta
ML – Alonso
MC – Fabregas
MC – Kante
MR – Zappacosta
AC – Hazard
AC – Pedro
FC – Morata
