The utmost desire of many Manchester United fans is to see new defenders at Old Trafford next season.
Of course, the red devils are one of the premier league sides that had conceded the least goals so far this season in the English top flight.
However, it is glaring goalkeeper David De Gea is the man that keeps hindering opponents’ shots from creeping into the net – while the current defenders keep making unnecessary defense error.
If the Old Trafford club should win the premier league again, something must be done; things have to change.
And the management must take advantage of the upcoming summer transfer window to add more strength to the defense department.
Ahead of the window, one player that has been heavily linked with Manchester United is Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti. However, considering the interest of some other top sides like Man City, it won’t be easy getting the £54m-rated Frenchman when summer comes.
But no problem! Should Mourinho miss out on getting Umtiti’s signature, he can still fight for these two talented defenders:
SALIF SANE
Salif keeps impressing this season and has shown he could perform well anywhere he finds himself. Sane would make a good partner with Eric Bailly in Mourinho’s starting XI.
KURT ZOUMA
Kurt is young, strong and talented. Of course, after Man United successfully signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea last summer, the red devils can repeat same strategy to get the Chelsea star.
So, do you think both Sane and Zouma can flourish at Old Trafford?
