French giants Paris Saints Germain are set to lose one of their biggest players at the end of the season and the North London club Arsenal have been encouraged to take advantage of it.
Brazilian defender Dani Alves’ career is set to expire at the end of the season and the Gunners manager Unai Emery has been told to look that direction according to a poll by footballfancast.com.
Out of the total respondents that engaged in the poll, 70% of them urged the Spanish manager to quickly move in on the former Barcelona man who will no doubt add experience and quality to the defence.
However, this is coming after the former Juventus player granted an interview where he hailed the English Premier League and stated that he will not end his career without playing in the league.
The 35-year-old is one of the most decorated players in active football having won silverware in Spain, Italy and now France but he is yet to win any in England and he is of the opinion that it must happen before the end of his career.
With his contract expected to expire in coming summer, Arsenal will have a boost in their defence should the former PSG manager make any effort to unite with Alves.
