Chelsea have offered £30 million plus Danny Drinkwater to Crystal Palace for the signature of Wilfried Zaha, according to reports.
The Blues are in the hunt for reinforcements before the end of the summer transfer window, following reports that Brazilian winger, Willian may be on his way out of the Stamford Bridge to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Zaha has been a standout performer for Palace since he joined them two years ago from Manchester United, scoring nine goals and five assists in 29 appearances last season.
Reports in The Sun have it that the Blues will hope to lure Zaha who is believed to be considering a step up in the Premier League after helping his side escape relegation last season with patches of brilliance for the Eagles.
The Sun also claim that Crystal Palace rejected the deal almost immediately, as they are keen on holding on to their star player.
Tottenham Hotspur have been close admirers of Wilfried Zaha since he left the Old Trafford and remain in the race to sign the talented winger.
Danny Drinkwater who signed for Chelsea from Leicester City last summer window could be on his way out of the club after been deemed surplus to requirement at the Stamford Bridge.
Spurs, on the other hand, are understood to be preparing a £45 million offer for Palace plus a handsome sell-on clause in a potential future deal.
