Champions League Final: Betting Preview

Two English teams will contest the Champions League final for only the second time when Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool meet in the 2019 edition.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have the opportunity to end the season with a trophy when both teams meet in the 2019 Champions League final billed for the new Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

Liverpool are clear favourites over Spurs who are making their first appearance in the Champions League final.

The Reds are making a second successive appearance in the final after losing 3-1 to Real Madrid during the 2018 Champions League final.

Both teams were handed respective injury boosts ahead of the game after their key players returned to full training.

Liverpool have been boosted by the return of Roberto Firmino who missed the final three league games of the season with a muscle injury.

He briefly appeared towards the end of the first leg of the Reds’ semifinal tie with Spanish giants Barcelona before he got injured again.

For Tottenham Hotspur, star striker Harry Kane is back to full training after almost two months out with a serious ankle problem while important midfielder Harry Winks is also ready to take his place in the Spurs XI after a recent hip problem.

Liverpool have won the competition five times and they are favourites at the odds of 1.90 according to Surebet247 ahead of Spurs who have 4.20 odds.

The possibility of a draw between the two teams is at the odds of 3.60 as revealed by Surebet247.
