English Premier League outfit Manchester United have not been able to agree on a new deal with Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea with time already running out.
David De Gea earlier had a rift with former boss Jose Mourinho and pushed for a move away from the club but the manager has been sacked and he is yet to put pen to paper despite the plea and efforts by the club to convince him.
The Red Devils were left with no choice than to trigger a 12-month extension in his contract in November with the hope that he could be convinced but that has not happened.
However, with less than a 2-year contract left for David De Gea at the Old Trafford, there are already plans to have him sold at the end of the season so as not to lose him for free.
It is alleged that the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper was offered a £350,000-a-week deal to remain with the Red Devils but that has not been convincing enough for him to stay.
This makes the club consider putting him up for sale to the highest bidder in the coming summer window if an agreement is yet to be reached.
