English Premier League side Arsenal are still interested in the signature of Villarreal creator outfit, Pablo Fornals, according to reports from Sport via TalkSPORT.
It was earlier suggested that the North London side have dropped out of the race as a result of the interest by their London rivals West Ham United.
But with the latest report, the Gunners and West Ham will now battle for the signature of the star player who is believed to be available should the right offer is tabled for him.
Pablo Fornals is believed to be pushing for an exit himself, knowing that the chances of his side not being relegated this season are slim because of their woeful performance so far.
However, Pablo Fornals who is still has a contract with the Spanish La Liga outfit has got a release clause of about £28.5 million but suggestions are that the fee can be negotiated.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are at a disadvantage in this deal knowing that they do not have the fat wallet to do any transfer deal this season as they will only seek for a loan move which is unlikely to be accepted by Villarreal.
This, therefore, place West Ham in the better chance of winning the race for the star creator.
