Zlatan Ibrahimovic has described as hype, the rating given to the English Premier League, stressing that the quality of the league is being overrated.

Ibrahimovic remains the first player ever to make such a claim knowing the stand of managers and players who have come in from other leagues.

Manchester City and Liverpool managers, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are part of those that have given the hype to the English League having both had experiences with other leagues including the Spanish La Liga and the German Bundesliga.

Both managers after their arrival confessed the competition and the level of the league as they admit it is far beyond what they have known from their previous places.

But for the former Manchester United striker, there is no big deal about the league because he has had an experience; it was easy to have recorded the success he got.

Ibrahimovic who joined United as a free player at the age 35, scored a total of 28 goals in all competitions and was able to help the Old Trafford side win the Community Shield and the EFL Cup during his stay.

Giving reasons for his stand, Ibrahimovic stated that if it was easy for him to succeed at the age of 35 in England, succeeding at a much younger age will be a sure deal.
