Since the arrival of Chelsea new boss, Sarri Maurizio from the Italian club, Napoli, in the summer transfer window, the Blues are yet to have a permanent player.
Sarri Maurizio will be spending his sixth week playing in the English Premier League without a permanent captain yet at Chelsea.
The new coach had rotated the captaincy among the Blues player.
Thursday match in the Uefa Europa League was no exception as we saw Brazil star, Willian been made the Blues captain until Cesar Azpilicueta came on board to take the armband from him.
This is however unlike Chelsea who are used to having a permanent captain.
Under former coach, Antonio Conte, Chelsea centre-back defender, Gary Cahill was handed the captain band.
However, Coach Sarri seems not to have any interest in Gary Cahill as he has refused to start him this season at all.
The former captain has been relegated to the bench as he didn’t feature in the match against PAOK.
Cahill has vowed to leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window if things didn’t change.
Sarri disclosed that he is less concern about trivial matters like who will be the Blues captain.
He, however, stressed that he will talk with his players and his club before he decides on that.
