Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has made public his opinion that the English Premier League needs more players with like-characters as Paul Pogba.
Doucoure, who claims to have known the Frenchman over the years, stated that the player is a different personality from what people think of him.
On the alleged rift with United boss, Jose Mourinho, the Watford midfielder said the former Juventus midfielder has no issues with the Portuguese boss.
He said what is playing out is the usual show off by Pogba which is his known character right from childhood.
Doucoure who claimed to have played alongside Pogba at the U016 level said the player only likes to show off both on and off the pitch which is typical of his personality, hence should not be taken seriously.
Downplaying what is currently playing out, he stated that Pogba is a nice guy who is natural, likes to laugh and speak about everything.
Praising the embattled United player, the Watford midfielder said Pogba has got the physical presence and strength, in addition to the unique technique he has got which gave him the edge.
The pair will do midfield battle tomorrow when United visit third-place Watford at the weekend and Doucoure is looking forward to that encounter.
Watford now sit 3rd on the log having won of the league games so far this season.
