Liverpool FC to extend the contract of these two defenders

Following the contract extension of Roberto Firmino, Mohammed Salah and Henderson last summer, report have made it known that Liverpool FC are planning to extend the contract of two of their defenders with a pay rise.

The two defenders are England internationals Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.

Going by record the duo of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez have been spectacular for the Reds so far this season.

And they have been in charge since Liverpool player Clyne got injured last season.

The two England internationals have given Virgil van Dijk the right support that has made the Reds defense line impenetrable.

According to the new report, Trent Alexander-Arnold new contract will see his pay rise to £60k a week while Joe Gomez will rise to £50k per week.

Well,  Liverpool fans are happy with the new development as it is a hint that none of them will be leaving anytime soon.

However, another Liverpool player who we are anticipating will get a contract extension soon is Senegal international, Sadio Mane.

Apart from Mane, Croatia international, Dejan Lovren is expected to get a contract extension when he comes back from injury.
