Liverpool star player Sadio Mane has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Champions League winners Real Madrid.
According to reports, the club’s new boss Julen Loptegui is keen on bringing the Senegalese down to the Bernabeu this summer.
Before now, there have been rumours that the La Liga club are only interested in signing Egyptian international Mohamed Salah before the start of the coming season.
However, Diario Gol made it known that Real could now focus on Sadio Mane – who is a cheaper alternative to Salah.
It was added that the Spanish club are confident they won’t spend more than £79million to bring the Senegal international down to Spain this summer.
Sadio has been very much impressive at Anfield since he joined the club and has caught the attention of various top sides across Europe.
He is a strong and hardworking versatile player who can play anywhere up front and will definitely add more value to Real Madrid should he make the move this summer.
