Antonio Conte want to sign five players including £94.2 million Brazilian pair

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is willing to spend massive during in the New Year and has shortlisted Brazilian pair Lucas Moura and Alex Sandro, including a number of former transfer targets the West London club missed out last summer transfer window.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the English Premier League champions have their ‘eagle’ eyes on a couple of players with Antonio Conte having told club chief’s that they risk losing the title to big-spending league leaders Manchester City.

Top of Conte, 48, shopping wishlist could be winger Alex Sandro from Serie A giant Juventus. Having been strongly linked with a transfer for the Brazil international for most of the last summer, a move failed to occur for the left-back.

It is widely thought that whilst Alex Sandro wanted a transfer to Stamford Bridge, he was not ready to ‘force’ a switch away from Turin, with the Serie A giant themselves demanding £60million for the defender. Chelsea seem to lack back-up for left-wing back Spaniard Marcos Alonso, who has been consistent for the Blues this campaign. The worry is that the Spain international is beginning to feel the fatigue of a hectic festive period.

Another player from the French Ligue 1; Mouctar Diakhaby has performed brilliantly for his side Lyon this campaign. The center-back, if signed by Conte in January should reinforce the Chelsea defence that has looked shaky at times this season.

With Alvaro Morata heavily utilized and Michy Batshuayi not reliable, the Blues are in dire need of a forward. Belgian Christian Benteke, who has a huge admirer in Antonio Conte, could be a good option.

Everton star Ross Barkley remains a good option for Chelsea since his failed transfer deadline-day move in August.
