Liverpool star player Philippe Coutinho has told the club’s fans that he has put behind him all that happened during the summer transfer window and is now ready to put all his attention to playing the Reds.
Coutinho was heavily linked with a move to La Liga side Barcelona after he emerged as a target for the Catalan giants during the past summer transfer window. He is understood to have submitted a transfer request in an attempt to force a move to the Camp Nou club, but the Reds refused to let go of him.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are said to have rejected three big-money moves from Barca and refused to change their stance of ‘he is not leaving this summer’ – much to the frustration of the player.
Countiho is now fully back and has been added back into the Liverpool team. He helped his side won Leicester City last weekend in their premier league game at the King Power Stadium – by scoring an astonishing free-kick and providing an assist.
The samba star also scored the equaliser for his side in their recent Champions League 1-1 draw with Spartak Moscow at Russia on Tuesday, and he has made it known that he is now fully focused on Liverpool.
And while Liverpool fans are not happy that the boys couldn’t get all three points in Moscow on Tuesday night despite creating lots of chances, Phil wants this to be known:
“We have to keep working and there are more games, another four games to come.”
