Liverpool are set to play Middlesbrough in their last premier league game of this season at Anfield. If they can get all three points after the game, then they will play in the Champions League next season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have won their last four premier league games away from home. Ironically, their recent home record is not too palatable as they’ve only been able to get two points from their last three premier league games home at Anfield.
They must therefore strive to work very hard when they face relegation bound Middlesbrough.
Obviously, Liverpool do not have the best defensive department right now, and their German boss need work to improve his back line when summer comes.
Even though he signed two center halves last summer, the German is now ready to sign two more quality Premier League stars this summer.
It was reported that the reds are set to sell one of their stars – in the person of Sakho, and would hope to get around 30 million pounds for him. The boss needs the duo of Sunderland’s Virgil van Dijk and Burnley’s Michael Keane to add more power to his defense – and both of them have a combined worth of $103million.
It was reported earlier on that the Sunderland defender has decided to join Liverpool – but only if they can qualify for Champions League (everyone wants to play in the Champions League!)
As for the Burnley defender, Mirror insisted that Klopp’s side are close to sealing a deal for him.
